Podere Cerale can be reached by plane to Pisa or Florence or by train to Cecina.

When driving, follow the directions for La Spezia-Rome from Milan. The tollroad changes into a regular highway, where you should take the Cecina-Nord exit. Follow the signs for Volterra, but turn right in Saline di Volterra, to Pomarance-Larderello. Pass Pomarance on the SS 439 and take the first road to the right after the 122 kilometre sign, to S’Ippolito. Now it is some 4.5 kilometres along a narrow asphalt road, changing into an unpaved road. Follow the yellow signs to Podere Cerale.
